Owens Chiropractic Center, 292 Second Street: 2010s
It seems that Owens Chiropractic Center has been closed for quite some time because Dr. Owens has not been in good health, which is unfortunate. Over the years, I've liked how this building looks. I'm not sure if it's what you would call "art deco", but the architecture is certainly distinct. I've always liked the light blue color on the roof and overhang. I seem to recall this building having that same light blue color as far back as the early 1990s, when I would walk past the building on my way after school from Robert Smalls Elementary to Cheraw Elementary, where my mom was substitute teaching.
