@Jerry Thanks for stopping by, and I do appreciate the feedback. Ideally, I would like to change the backend code for the All Closings link at the top-right of the page to list the closings in alphabetical order rather than chronologically. If you would please remove the comment I made regarding the Kream kastle in Cheraw. I thought it was going to give me a frame to edit my comments, and it did not. I will post a better comment with the years, and dates if you will do that. Thank you in advance.
Also, I am Barbara Turnage Hall and lived in Cheraw all my life until my husband died.
I will be happy to give you any information that I have . I knew the town rather well and worked in it from the time I was 13 years old. Lovely place and I still miss and love it.

Although I don't mind removing your comment, I didn't think anything was wrong with it; in fact, I found it very informative and have added Baskin's Ice Cream Shop to that particular blog post title. Whenever you get around to finding those dates, you may add a new comment to the post. However, if you still prefer that I remove the original comment, then I will certainly do so.I grew up in Cheraw, too, but my memory only goes back about 30-something years because...well...that is my age. Even then, there is about a 15-year gap from when I moved away and then moved back. That said, I am always interested in finding out what some of these places were, along with stories people may have regarding these places. I look forward to hearing more from you! Well, now, if it isn't the notorious G piddy! I actually don't recall you messing with Gentoo back then, though I know you dabbled in a few distros when we roomed together; do you still have the clicky keyboard? I tried Gentoo out a while back but found it to be a bit too involved. Currently, the OS is DragonflyBSD; however, that is getting ready to be changed. The Plan 9 shell script software, werc, is nice, simple, and to the point; beats using the bloated Wordpress, which tends to be full of security holes.Nice to hear from you, and hope you are doing well. How did you find my site? I know the SEO score has never been that good.
